Pinchas Zukerman (born July 16, 1948, in Tel Aviv, Israel) is one of the world's most distinguished violinists, violists, conductors, and music educators. After studying at the Juilliard School under the legendary Ivan Galamian, he launched an international career spanning more than six decades.

Renowned for his warm tone, exceptional technical mastery, and musical elegance, Zukerman has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, Vienna Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, and Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. His extensive discography of more than 100 recordings has earned him two Grammy Awards and 21 Grammy nominations, in addition to the U.S. National Medal of Arts and numerous other honors.

A passionate mentor and educator, Zukerman has shaped generations of young musicians through the Pinchas Zukerman Performance Program at the Manhattan School of Music, the National Arts Centre's Young Artist Program, and numerous international masterclasses, inspiring outstanding young string players through his artistry, experience, and commitment to musical excellence.
